A 68 yo gets general for a Whipple. Anesthesia medically directs CRNA on this case while directing four other cases.

why 00794Qk & 00794QX
y same code twice. isn't QK sufficient ?

You would have to use both modifiers because the QK represents 2,3,or 4 current anesthesia procedures involving qualified individuals and there are 5 patients being medically directed- the CRNA which requires the QX.
